Paul Trittler - Director of Instruction

Paul's
experience on the PGA and Nike Tours and combined seven top-10
finishes coupled with his over 20 years of golf instruction
experience give him an extraordinarily deep understanding
of both the golf swing and the game of golf. Therefore it
is not surprising that Paul is noted as one of Golf Magazine's
Top 100 instructors.
Paul's
teaching style puts students at ease with their natural abilities.
His simple, yet effective, teaching philosophy has improved
the golf games of thousands of golfers throughout the United
States and has garnered him national attention as a top golf
instructor.
Prior
to arriving at the Kostis McCord Learning Center, Paul served
as the director of golf instruction at the prestigious Lely
Resort Golf and Country Club in Naples, Florida. While at
Lely Resort, Paul was awarded numerous teaching awards, including
1994 and 1996 South Florida Section of the PGA Teacher of
the Year. In 1999 Paul was featured for two days as a host
instructor on Golf Academy live on the golf channel. He has
also written informative articles for numerous golf publications
including Senior Golfer and Golf Magazine.
Paul credits
Kostis McCord Learning Center co-founder Peter Kostis with
having a great influence on his golf teaching career. "I've
worked with Peter Kostis on my own golf game for fifteen years
and he's helped me tremendously. I look forward to passing
along to my students what I've learned from Peter over the
years."
Jeff
Yurkiewicz - Head Golf Instructor
In
his tenth year at Kostis/McCord Learning Center, Jeff will
continue to disperse the information with a personal teaching
style that is valued by the Kostis/McCord Learning Center.
Jeff's great knowledge for the game of golf is credited to
Peter Kostis and Paul Trittler, both Golf Magazines Top 100
Golf Instructors.
Also,
Jeff's State and National tounament experience, including the 2005 PGA Championship at Baltusrol, gives him insight
to help his students play better golf, through course management
and shot selection. Jeff is a Class A PGA member and a graduate
of New Mexico State Golf Management Program.
In
addition to his experience as a member of the Kostis McCord
instructional staff, Jeff has extensive working with junior
golfers. Jeff began instructing juniors while working at Hiland
Golf Club in upstate New York in 1993. Two years later, as
President of the New Mexico State University's Professional
Golf Management Program, Jeff exhibited his strong leadership
skills by directing the local "Clubs for Kids" Program.
In addition to helping kids learn the fundamentals of the
game, each youngster received a few donated clubs to help
them get started. As President, Jeff also introduced an after-school
program for high school students, instructing them on the
fundamentals and etiquette of the game.
